The Master Cleanser, borrowed from Stanley Burrough's book "The
Master Cleanser", is a wonderful way to eliminate accumulated toxins from
deep tissues and vital organs while maintaining good levels of energy.
The formula, including ingredients and proportions should not be changed, except
the cayenne, if you find it too spicy.
You may or may not experience some physical discomfort during the
first few days of the fast. This is a natural response due to the elimination of
toxins from the body. After a few days the symptoms will disappear. Your
body will feel revitalized and healthy during the last days of the fast. Many people have been healed of chronic pains and illness
through this purification process.
Due to the decrease in calories, it is
best to limit your exercise routine. Gentle
exercises such as yoga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, swimming and daily walks will be good for the
body and will help you detoxify even more, but high cardiovascular activities and
heavy weight training should be avoided at this time. As a
rule of thumb, listen to your body and be aware of how you feel.
It is best
to follow a healthy and natural diet upon completing the fast. A vegetarian diet
is highly recommended.
The following fast is given solely as a recommendation; anyone
who follows it does so voluntarily. Since each person, naturally reacts
differently, each individual must use his or her own judgment as to its use.
Please consult your doctor before engaging in this fast and read the book.
