Master Cleanser (Lemonade Fast)

The Master Cleanser, borrowed from Stanley Burrough's book "The Master Cleanser", is a wonderful way to eliminate accumulated toxins from deep tissues and vital organs while maintaining good levels of energy.  The formula, including ingredients and proportions should not be changed, except the cayenne, if you find it too spicy. 

You may or may not experience some physical discomfort during the first few days of the fast. This is a natural response due to the elimination of toxins from the body. After a few days the symptoms will disappear. Your body will feel revitalized and healthy during the last days of the fast. Many people have been healed of chronic pains and illness through this purification process.

Due to the decrease in calories, it is best to limit your exercise routine. Gentle exercises such as yoga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, swimming and daily walks will be good for the body and will help you detoxify even more, but high cardiovascular activities and heavy weight training should be avoided at this time. As a rule of thumb, listen to your body and be aware of how you feel.

It is best to follow a healthy and natural diet upon completing the fast. A vegetarian diet is highly recommended.

The following fast is given solely as a recommendation; anyone who follows it does so voluntarily.  Since each person, naturally reacts differently, each individual must use his or her own judgment as to its use. Please consult your doctor before engaging in this fast and read the book.
 

Instructions

Drink 6-8 servings a day for 5-10 days. Don't eat anything else. You may drink herbal teas and water as well.

Keep your bowels moving with Yogi Detox Tea, in the morning and evening to help your body eliminate the toxins accumulating in your colon as the lemonade cleanses your entire system. It is also recommended to cleanse the colonic tract with an internal salt water bath regularly during the fast.

Break your fast by drinking orange juice for two days to prepare your stomach to assimilate other foods. On the third day, drink orange juice in the morning, raw fruit for lunch, and fruits and salad for dinner. Resume normal, healthy eating on the next day.

Internal Salt Water Bath

This method will wash the entire digestive system. Add two level teaspoons of uniodized sea salt to a quart (4 cups) of warm water. Drink this solution all at once on an empty stomach. Half hour to an hour afterwards, you will experience a gurgling sensation in your stomach which is an indication that eliminations are about to start. You will experience several eliminations during this process for up to 3 hours. Please be sure to stay at the comfort of your home near a bathroom until this process is complete.

The Master Cleanser Recipe

Single Serving - (Drink 6-8 servings per day)

Full Day Recipe (6 servings)

2 Tbsp Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice

3/4 cup Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice

2 Tbsp Maple Syrup (Grade B is best, though all Grades are acceptable)

3/4 cup Maple Syrup (Grade B is best, though all Grades are acceptable)

1/10 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

3/5 Tsp Cayenne Pepper (about half a teaspoon)

10 oz of Bottled or Purified Water

60 oz of Bottled or Purified Water

Mix all the ingredients together.

Mix all the ingredients together in a large container.
